Notwithstanding the preceding article, the following uses are prohibited:

• Redistribution, unauthorized re-uploading, claiming authorship, excessive editing, tracing, AI training, or reusing the oto.ini for other voicebanks

• Use of character Illustration specifically released for VOCALOID

• Creating merchandise using official character Illustration or official images

• Sale or resale of cosplay costumes

• Use as an "Image CV" (assigning the voice to a different character)

• Creating new characters by changing the g-parameter (gender factor)

• Creating role-play or impersonation accounts

• Unauthorized commercial use by corporations [2]

• Malicious use that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others

• Explicit political or religious expression (excluding general uses such as hymns or sutra chanting)

• Use on adult websites
