▼Permitted Uses▼​​

• Derivative works [1]

• Posting derivative works online and distributing their data

• Distributing derivative works via subscription-based services

• Using the full body picture bundled in the VB folder in original songs or cover song videos

• Modifying and redistributing the voice configuration file (oto.ini)

• Cosplay

• Creating, distributing, and selling merchandise

• Doujin activities and individual commercial use [2]​

▼Prohibited Uses▼

• Redistribution, unauthorized reuploading, claiming authorship, excessive modification, tracing, AI training, or reuse of oto.ini

• Use of full body pictures released for VOCALOID

• Creating merchandise using official full body pictures or official images

• Use as an “image CV”

• Creating characters by changing the gender (g)

• Creating role-play (impersonation) accounts

• Unauthorized commercial use by companies [2]

• Malicious use that infringes or may infringe upon the rights of others

• Explicit political expression or explicit religious expression (excluding general uses such as hymns or sutra chanting)

• Use on adult websites
