A method to get them singing without worrying about the details

・This guide uses the “Arbitrary VB” plugin (using Kazehiki in the example) and the “Lyrics to VCV” plugin, so please download them beforehand if possible.

・This is a simplified explanation; for detailed instructions on how to make it sing, please refer to resources like the Wiki.

・Also, this is KurukuruSuuzi's method, so it may not apply universally.

This is a Windows 10 environment. Instructions are provided in Japanese only.

Just learning to add breath at the end of phrases can make your playing sound much more stylish.

What you'll need: Any UST file (The UST used in this video: DL → “Furusato Suppin.ust”)

【!】Here's how to make the downloaded UST sing.
First, here's the basic flow without explanation↓↓. Takes about 45 seconds.
A step-by-step guide with explanations follows below.

【!】↑Explanation Version: How to use existing pre-tuned UST files.
If you download a UST file and want to use its pitch settings to make it sing, refer to this guide.
The UST file mentioned in the explanation: Download → “Red Shoes.ust”

I'm taking a few detours for explanation, but for the actual UST files you downloaded, I recommend doing the following:

1. Open ※ Make sure it's in mode2

2. Select any .ust file

3. Edit project settings

4. Select all

5. Right-click → “Multiple Selection Properties”

6. Clear “Pre-voicing,” “Overlap,” and “STP.” Enter modulation “0.” ※ Important

7. “Tools” → “Built-in Tools” → “suffixBroker…” → Click “OK” without making changes

8. Reset envelope crossfade → “p1p4” ※ Important

9. Select desired playback range and play

10. If still no sound, change phonemes as shown in the video

11. Once all sounds play, add end breaths, adjust pitch writing, or tweak until satisfied

12. Once satisfied, go to “Project” → “Generate WAV File” to create a .wav file.

Applying too much vibrato can make the sound shaky, so it's best to only slightly adjust the pitch at the beginning and end of the note.
